It was easy to use and provided a great way to move about the site. The combination of hover-over menus, smooth transitions, and intuitive design made for an enjoyable time on site and I can see where that work will benefit them in future.

While exploring XYZComics, I found a fairly disappointing aspect – the site had a very limited selection of comics. This is underwhelming, as I know that there are thousands of comics, hentai, and manga of a XXX nature in the world. The content library is definitely sparse, having only 4 pages of comics to go through, with 16 comics to a page. That’s right, there are only 64 comics on the site. For avid comic readers, the limited selection is a significant drawback. It may be frustrating to not find the specific comics or genres they enjoy, hindering their overall happiness on the site. Despite other positive features the website may have, the limited selection of comics significantly impacted its appeal. Expanding the content library would very much benefit the site and attract a wider audience.

Pop-Ups Are Distracting

The presence of pop-up ads, I don’t like them. I’m fully able to admit it. These ads proved to be worse than usual by disrupting the flow of navigation and content exploration. One of the problems lies with how large the pop-ups are. They take up enough room that they get in the way of reading the comic you’ve selected. You can “X” out of them, shutting them down, but sometimes even that caused issue. Even when the pop-up ads were closed properly, there were times where they still redirected you to an external website. This unexpected redirection was not only annoying but also time-consuming, and taking a visitor off the site has always seemed like a bad idea to me. It is worth mentioning that reducing or eliminating these pop-up ads would very much improve the usability of the site.

In conclusion, XYZComics gave me a mixed experience. While the excellent tab use let me easily navigate and the high resolution of the comics was great, there were certain drawbacks that can’t be ignored. The very limited selection of comics proved to be a major drawback, potentially disappointing avid comic readers. Also, the use of distracting pop-up ads was very disruptive and led to frustrating redirects. These issues diminished my overall enjoyment of the site. Although the site had its positive aspects, I think that these drawbacks need to be fixed to give users of the site a more satisfying and enjoyable experience
